Lorraine O’Hara, 64, a resident of the Bayport area, passed away on June 14, 2025. Born in Northport, Lorraine graduated from Northport High School and Adelphi University. She worked in compliance for financial institutions and later as a commercial real estate broker with her husband, John O’Hara, until his passing. Lorraine was also a volunteer and board member of The Neighborhood House of Long Island, a non-profit organization supporting individuals who have lost loved ones to suicide or overdose. Lorraine was an avid reader, gardener and lover of the ocean, beaches and wildlife.
Lorraine was predeceased by her husband John in 2013 and her parents Walter and Sheila Goeller. She is survived by her siblings Barbara O’Donnell (Stephen) of Florida, Jacqueline Goeller (Gary Scirica) of Baiting Hollow, and Kenneth Goeller (Pamela) of California, along with her niece and nephews, Ryan, Moira, and William. Additionally, she leaves behind a large extended family and friends.
A gathering will take place on Saturday, June 21st, from 2-5 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in Bayport, with a service at 4:30 p.m.
