Lolly Purcell, 74, a fifty-year resident of Oakdale, NY, died on May 15, 2025. Lolly worked as a Registered Nurse with Southside Hospital for more than thirty years. She was extremely creative and loved painting, sewing and gardening. Lolly was known to leave surprise treats for her family, friends and neighbors.
Mrs. Purcell was predeceased by her husband, Jack in 2014. She is survived by her son, John and his wife Stephanie of Blue Point, her two grandchildren, Brendan and Lilianna, as well as her brother, Tom Beam of Babylon.
Friends and relatives will gather on Sunday, May 18th, 3-7 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville where a service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 19th. Interment will follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Sayville.
