Linda Fanelli Obituary

Linda J. Fanelli, of Sayville, passed away on January 15, 2021. Linda was a Police Officer with the Suffolk County Police department for 31 years. She retired a detective and was one of the Suffolk County Police Departments first female detectives.

She is survived by her husband Joel. Her daughter Mary Ann Bartens and Husband James. Her grandson Ryan and Brother Craig Hamilton and Wife Joanne. A private cremation will take place followed by inurnment of her ashes at Calverton National Cemetery. A celebration of Linda’s life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Kent Animal Shelter 2259 River Road Calverton, NY 11933 in Linda’s memory would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home 245 Montauk Hwy West Sayville, NY 11796.
