Larry J. Trumino

Lawrence J. Trumino, Sr. (Larry), 81, of Sayville, LI, died on Sunday, March 19, 2023, surrounded by his family.  Born and raised in The Bronx, NY, by his parents, Ignazio and Gaetana, a longtime resident of Massapequa, then West Babylon, Larry moved to Sayville in July of 2022.  Mr. Trumino had a distinguished career in Construction, working for more than fifty years as a floor coverer with Local 2287 out of Manhattan.

Mr. Trumino is survived by his life partner, Toni, his three children, Larry and his wife Lisa of Lindenhurst, Michael and his wife Steffanie of New Jersey and Jennifer and her husband Chris Sloan of Sayville, three step-children, Lisa and her husband Keith of City Island, Deana and her husband Rob of City Island and Dennis and his wife Christina of Thornwood, his grandchildren, Alyssa, Anna, Samantha, Veronica, Robert, Dennis, Christopher, Giovanna, Madison, Sara and Julia, a great granddaughter, Charlotte, as well as two brothers, Joseph and his fiancé Jackie and Ron and his wife Mary Jo.  He was predeceased by his wife, Grace (Gay) and by his grandson, Keith.

Friends and relatives will gather, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22nd at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:15 a.m. Thursday, March 23rd at St. Lawrence RC Church in Sayville and interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Bay Shore.
