September 25, 2021 seemed like an ordinary day…little did the world realize they lost the best of us. Kevin Dorman was a man out of time as you would be hard pressed trying to find him on social media. He was too busy for that crap unlike everyone else. You were much more likely to see him with a rum and coke in his hand then a cell phone. Rum and Coke was his favorite drink because as he put it “even the worst bartender could mix it right.” So the bar was low. You could see him enjoying one at the View restaurant where he wanted his coffin laid out, as in life so in death. He wanted there to be a rum and Coke in one hand and a cigarette in the other. Family was everything to him. He was the patriarch and high protector,. And you better believe there was no better ally…no worse enemy. Kevin made it known to Gina if he passed (half jokingly) that she was not to allowed another man in his house or he would kick her out from beyond the grave. Another of Kevin’s passions was wreck diving… a competent and helpful dive buddy. He was particularly a problem for the lobster population where he skillfully captured them. In a way it’s now a really good time to be a lobster. Speaking of lobsters, his annual bisque party was stuff of legend. We should inspire to live half a full a life that Kevin had. Kevin is survived by his wife Gina, son s Patrick and Steven and daughter Amannda.
