Kevin P. Daly

Kevin “Zippy” Daly, 63, a lifelong resident of the Sayville area, died suddenly on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.  Raised in Oakdale, Kevin graduated from Sayville High School in 1976.  He worked for many years as a union painting contractor with the DC9 Union.

Kevin is survived by his fiancé, Trisha Treschl, his mother, Barbara Daly of Florida, his siblings, Michael Daly and his wife Debra of Sayville, Peter Daly of West Sayville and Colleen Garrod and her husband Frank of Florida, as well as his nieces and nephews, Jordan, James, Molly, Jason and Amber.  He was predeceased by his father, James “Spike” Daly.

Friends and relatives will gather to celebrate Kevin’s life on Sunday, January 24th, 3-6 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville where a religious service will be held at 5 p.m.
