Ken was a man of many interests. He was well known in the classic car circle for his meticulous, brightly colored  hot rods which were displayed at many car shows on the East Coast as well as in many local parades. He was a talented musician from an early age.  First playing the accordion, at age 5, then guitar, trumpet and eventually developing a singing voice. He performed for many years at venues throughout Long Island with his Band mates who were lifelong friends. Kens love of music continued throughout his entire life and is part of his legacy.

Ken was also a fishing enthusiast.  He grew up in a family of Long Island Baymen, which instilled in him, a great love of the sea.  He shared his passion  with family and friends throughout his life and enjoyed many fishing expeditions from the Great South Bay to Costa Rica.

Ken, from a young age, had a unique love & compassion for all animals.  Whether it be rehabilitating, sheltering, caring for, feeding or adopting an animal in need, he instilled this in both his daughters.
