Kathleen H. Peters

Kathleen H. Peters, 87, a resident of Sayville for more than sixty years, passed peacefully on Sunday, April 30, 2023, surrounded by her family.  Born and raised in Maspeth, Queens, Kathleen married Dr. Philip Peters in 1957.  The couple spent two years in Tokyo while Dr. Peters was serving in the US Air Force before returning to the US and settling in Sayville in 1959.  Mrs. Peters was a charter member of the Sayville Pilot Club and a longtime member of the Sayville Village Improvement Society.

Mrs. Peters is survived by her husband, Dr. Philip R. Peters, her daughter, Miranda Paulis and her husband Joseph, as well as her two grandsons, JP and Mason.

Friends and relatives will gather on Thursday, May 4th, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville.  The funeral service and interment will be private.
