Kathleen Mullaney Obituary

Kathleen Mary Mullaney, 83, a resident of Bay Shore, NY formerly of Sayville for more than 40 years, died on January 27, 2024. Mary was raised in Amityville and graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in Brentwood. She received her Bachelors Degree in nursing from Salve Regina University and went on to work as a registered nurse for more than 40 years.  She and her husband Bill moved to Bay Shore in 2016.

Mary is survived by her children, William A. Mullaney, Jr. of Oakdale, Colleen Mullaney Rotherham and her husband Jack of Larchmont, Kevin and his wife Tracy of Brightwaters, Michael and his wife Nicole of Bellport, her grandchildren, Shannon, Kayleigh, Rylie, Grace, Katie, Jack, Ian, Lukas, Maggie, Tyler and Allison, her great grandson, Nathan Ekelund, her brothers, Jack, Robert and Joseph Folks. She was predeceased by her husband Bill in 2019 and by her brother James Folks in 2004.

Family and friends will gather on Friday, February 2nd 2 – 4:30 & 7 – 9:30 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 3rd at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick’s RC Church in Bay Shore and interment will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery in Sayville.  For more information or to leave a condolence, visit www.raynordandrea.com.
