Kaaren N. Pagano

Kaaren N. Pagano, age 74, resident of West Sayville died on June 29, 2025 after a year long medical battle.

Kaaren is survived by her husband John, her children Nancy and John, Jr. and his wife Phoenix and her brother Matthew and wife Diana. 

Kaaren was born to Dr. & Mrs. Matthew Arnao of Elmont. She married, her husband John in 1972  and had a long career with Newsday’s Getting Personal and Advertising Departments where she made lifelong friendships. Kaaren was a devoted  wife, loving mother and exceptional neighbor. She loved gardening, decorating and cooking. Kaaren was a lover of dogs and all animals. 

In lieu of flowers, please consider making A donations to the  North Shore Animal League in Kaaren’s name, an organization she held in deep regard as they provided each of her beloved canine companions through out her many year living in West Sayville. 

Visitation- Tuesday July 8, 2025 from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at our West Sayville Funeral Home, 245 Main St.

Chapel Service- Tuesday July 8, 2025 at 8:00 p.m. at our West Sayville Funeral Home, 245 Main St.

Interment- Calverton National Cemetery-  Friends and family will gather at the funeral on Wednesday July 9, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. for a closing prayer at 11:00 a.m.
