June Ruizi

June (Bedell) Ruizi, 88, of Smithtown, NY, died on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. Raised in Smithtown, Mrs. Ruizi lived in Blue Point for nearly sixty years and worked for more than twenty seven years as an IRS Analyst Manager.

Mrs. (Bedell) Ruizi is survived by her daughters, Terry Grady and her husband Christopher of Cornelius,

NC, her son, Chester Bedell and his wife Mary of Pelzer, SC,  and Jean Bailey and her husband Russell of East Setauket, Ny. as well as her six grandchildren, Christopher Grady Jr  and his wife Erica, Michael Bailey, Scott 

Bailey, Maureen Grady-Leitenberger and her husband Ryan, Alexandra Lewis and her husband Ebaja, Sabrina Bedell, as well as June’s four great grandchildren, Kathrynne and Andrew Leitenberger,  Christopher Grady III, and  Aubrey Lewis.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in June’s name to Our Lady of the Snow Outreach and/or Catholic Charities

Visitation- Friday January 23, 2026 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at our Bayport Funeral Home, 683 Montauk Hwy.

Funeral Mass- Saturday January 24, 2026 at 9:45 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snow RC Church, Blue Point

Interment- Queen of All Saints Cemetery, Central Islip
