June Garben Obituary

June Anne Garben, 82, a thirty-year resident of West Sayville, LI, died on Monday, July 13, 2020. Mrs. Garben owned and operated Country Health and Diet Foods in Islip for many years. She was an active member at the Sayville United Methodist Church and a long-time volunteer at the Long Island Maritime Museum.

Mrs. Garben was predeceased by her husband, Bruce in 2018, and by her friend and companion, Kenneth Strange in May. She is survived by her two children, Lynn Blasso of Saratoga Springs, NY and Thomas Garben and his wife Ellen of Connecticut, her four grandchildren, Seth and Rachel Garben and Doug and Greg (Marrianne) Blasso, as well as her brother, Richard Zajicek and his wife Betty of Calverton.

Services for Mrs. Garben were private. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home.
