Josephine Ann Hanna

Josephine Ann Hanna, 83, a resident of Sayville for nearly sixty years, died on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.  Raised in Plainview, Josephine graduated from Plainview High School.  She worked for more than twenty years as a legal secretary with the Town of Islip.

Mrs. Hanna is survived by her husband of 63 years, Thomas, her son, John of Sayville, her daughter, Jill Schilling and her husband Tom, also of Sayville, her three grandchildren, Camryn and Thomas Schilling and Kylie Hanna, as well as her sister, Marie D’Anna and her husband Joseph of Smithtown.

Friends and relatives will gather on Friday, March 6th, 4-8 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 7th at 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence RC Church in Sayville and interment will follow at St. Ann's Cemetery in Sayville.
