Joseph Wolkoff Obituary

Joseph D. Wolkoff, age 44, resident of Oakdale, LI, died suddenly on November 5, 2023. Joe was known for his free spirit and was a light to many friends and strangers alike. He was known as “The Burning Man” and made beautiful solar wood art.

Joseph is survived by his parents Joseph and Patricia Wolkoff of Oakdale, LI, his niece Alexandra, his aunt Marybeth Hansbury, uncles Alan Garratt (Barbara), Peter Garratt, Daniel Wolkoff and his cousin Brian Hansbury.

Family will receive visitors on Thursday, November 9th 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home 245 Montauk Hwy. West Sayville. Chapel service Thursday 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be Friday 10:00 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Center Moriches. A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. for the cemetery.
