"Our Dear Mr. Joe"

October 16, 1929 - January 14, 2021

It is with the deepest sympathies and regret that we inform you of the passing of Joseph LaCova. 

This morning we entered into Bar Association headquarters, expecting to feel the pain of the loss of someone so close to us. To our surprise we instead were greeted with the realization our "Mr. Joe" was still among our staff. Walking into the building we were greeted with the heater that he himself had maintained. As we turned on the coffee machine we were reminded of all the funny stories and morning conversations we would have as he poured us a fresh cup. The lights he himself had installed time and time again illuminated our path to our desks. The sun rose this morning and shined a ray of light down on our beloved headquarters that he himself had painted, more than once. He was our "Mr. Fix-It"

Those who were fortunate enough to meet Joe knew he was a man of the sincerest nature and the most genuine humor. Joe was a truly kind soul who cared deeply for this organization and the members who comprised its roles. We will always keep him close to our hearts and treasure his memory.Among a long list of titles his most important were undoubtedly..
