In Loving Memory of Jor’Dynn Rose Duncan
Beautiful. Brilliant. Bright.
Jor’Dynn Rose Duncan was a radiant light whose joy, confidence, and sparkle filled every space she entered. From the moment she arrived, she danced through life with sass, rhythm, and a smile that could melt hearts. She loved music, movement, laughter, and being surrounded by love. A true girl’s girl, Jor’Dynn lived boldly, joyfully, and unapologetically — leaving behind memories that will forever shine.
True to her name, Jor’Dynn Rose was grace and beauty in full bloom. Though her time on this earth was far too short, her impact was mighty. She taught those around her how to love deeper, laugh louder, and appreciate every moment. Her spirit remains woven into the hearts of all who knew her.
Though we mourn her physical absence, we celebrate her life — her dance, her laughter, her sparkle, and her light.
Forever seven.
Forever loved.
Forever shining.
Jor’Dynn was welcomed into heaven by her beloved big brother Jaīfield Gordon, her great-grandmother Nana Cookie, and a host of great-aunts, uncles, and cousins who greeted her with open arms and endless love.
She leaves behind to cherish her beautiful memory:
Her loving mother, Portia Duncan
Her devoted father, Derrick Dixon
Her grandmother, Melinda Duncan
Her beloved Aunt Kimmy
Her cherished brothers and sister:
Isaiah, Nasheed, Saquan, Jordan, Derrick Jr., J.D., King, Justyce, Jalon, Jah'Mohri, Jaleal and her sister Queen.
Along with her, Auntie Malika, Uncle Blake, godmother Alicia her favorite cousin Cai Cai, and a loving host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who adored her deeply.
As Jor’Dynn begins her next journey, our hearts carry the weight of her absence but also the beauty of her presence. She reminds us to love boldly, hold each other close, and let her light guide us forward.
“Miss me, but let me go.
For my love does not end here —
it simply changes form.”
