Johanna F. Nichols

Johanna F. Nichols, 91, of Denver, North Carolina, formerly of Bayport, LI, died on January 5, 2022.  Mrs. Nichols owned and operated Johanna’s Hair Design in East Islip for many years.

Mrs. Nichols was predeceased by her husband George in 2013.  She is survived by her two children, LouAnn Link and her husband Stephen of Holbrook and George C., Jr. and his wife Dawn of North Carolina, her five grandchildren, Alyssa and her husband Aaron, Laura Beth, Eric, Daniel and Caitlin and her husband Josh, three great-grandchildren, Grayson, Emerson and Everly, as well as her brother, Lawrence Keyes and his wife Josephine of Ireland.

Friends and relatives will gather on Wednesday, January 12th, 4-8 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in Bayport where a funeral service will be held at 6 p.m.  A private cremation will follow.  Burial of ashes and committal prayers will be at 2 p.m. Friday, January 14th at Calverton National Cemetery.
