Johanna K. Albert

Johanna K. Albert, 98, a resident of Bayport, NY, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026.  Born and raised in Central Islip, Johanna graduated from Central Islip High School and was a lifelong resident of the area.  Mrs. Albert was an active member of the American Legion’s Ladies Auxiliary, first with Post 4S in East Islip and later with the Smith Weaver Post in Sayville.  She was also an active member of the Grumman Retiree group.

Mrs. Albert was predeceased by her husband Howard in 1999.  She is survived by her three daughters, JoAnn Foley and her husband Michael of Sayville, Donna L. Romano and her husband Charles of Sayville and Laura Weeks and her husband Gary of Holbrook, three grandchildren, Jonna Anderson and her husband Kevin Catalina, John Wilson and his wife Leanne and Shannon McCormack and her husband Shannon, five great-grandchildren, Emily, Jayna, Jaden, Julia and Flynn, as well as two great-great grandchildren, Luke and Callan.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville and all services were private.
