Joanne Angelastro passed peacefully on August 19, 2023 with her husband Mike and sons Michael & Christopher by her side. After relentlessly fighting for two years, she was finally able to rest.
Joanne perfected many roles throughout her life. She was a loyal and caring wife of 47 years, a selfless and loving mother, a thoughtful and sweet sister, aunt, in-law, friend, and a proud grandmother. She lived with a ‘family-first’ mentality, caring immensely for family and friends who she considered family. Joanne was the type of person to text and talk to you every day, even at her worst. A multi-talented perfectionist, she was a phenomenal cook and baker. Joanne truly loved when people enjoyed and fawned over what she made. Cooking, baking, crocheting, painting and crafting were just another way for her to express love and care.
Joanne was our sun; bright and beautiful. She always shined light and love on those around her whether there were clear skies or it was an overcast and cloudy day. The memories, love and laughter we shared with her will be cherished forever.
