Joan Johnson

(Georgiana) Joan (née Ruzicka) Johnson, 88, a resident of Bohemia, LI, passed on Friday, April 25, 2025.  Joan was  a longtime active member of Sayville United Methodist Church and a Sunday School teacher for 50 years. She was also active with the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts for her children.

Joan was survived by her four children, Cathy Volkle, Bruce and his wife Laura, Gary and his wife Deborah Giannoni, Jean Seamon and her husband Corey, by her eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, as well as her sibling, Patricia.

Visitation:  Monday, April 28th  4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home 245 Montauk Hwy. West Sayville

Chapel Service:  Tuesday, April 29th  10:00 a.m. at the funeral home

Interment to follow: at Bohemia Union Cemetery, Church St. Bohemia
