Jeanne Opalinski

Jeanne Opalinski, a resident of Oakdale, NY for more than forty years, died on March 21, 2026.  Jeanne was raised in North Bellmore, NY and graduated from Mepham High School.  She became a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked for many years at Nassau County Medical Center and more recently as a home healthcare nurse.

Jeanne is survived by her husband, Lance, as well as her two daughters, Danielle Zdebski and Christina Opalinski.  She was predeceased by her two brothers, Michael and Daniel Mimnaugh.

Friends and relatives will gather on Monday, March 23rd, 4-8 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 24th at 10 a.m. at St. John Nepomucene RC Church in Bohemia and interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery in Sayville.
