Jane Taber Obituary

Jane C. Taber, 70, of Bayport, LI and Indian Wells, CA, died suddenly on September 6, 2019. Raised in Pelham, Jane graduated from Pelham High School in 1967 and went on to earn her Bachelors’ Degree at SUNY Cortland and her Masters’ Degree at SUNY Albany. Mrs. Taber was an English teacher at Sayville Schools for nearly thirty years and served as an advisor for the Honor Society, Yearbook, Quiz Bowl and the Literary Magazine.

Mrs. Taber is survived by her husband, Michael, her sister, Elaine of Florida, two nieces, Lisa Hartmann of Sayville and Kelly Sansegundo of West Sayville and a nephew, Kevin Cuozzo of Boston, MA.

Friends and relatives will gather for a celebration of life on Saturday, September 28th, 3-7 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville.
