James Iuliano; age 89, resident of Manorville died on September 23, 2022. During the Korean conflict, James joined the Air Force. He was stationed overseas in Japan and at Mitchell Field Long Island where he was an aircraft mechanic in the 2nd Tow Target Squadron. It was while he was stationed on Long Island that he met his bride, Rita. For most of his professional life, James was a tool and die maker. He was also a member of the VFW Post 414 in Center Moriches.
James is survived by; his children; Vincent and his wife Cindi, Ann Marie Vasheo and her husband Angelo, Jack and his wife Ann, his grandchildren; James, Alyssa and Kristianna, his siblings; Alice Demske and Gloria Chernay. James was predeceased by his wife Rita and his sister Marie Lese, and his brothers, Joseph and Ronald.
Family will receive visitors on Tuesday, September 27th 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in Bayport. A chapel service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening. A burial will take place at Calverton National Cemetery on Wednesday, September 28th at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.
