Helen T. Rocco

            Helen T. Rocco, a resident of Oakdale for 40 years, passed away on October 2, 2021. Helen was employed as an accountant for Fairchild Hiller Aviation for many years. Helen enjoyed dining at numerous local restaurants with her companion Anthony Montemagno, always on the look out for new places to eat, experiencing what each menu had to offer. She enjoyed the Oakdale community and never strayed far away. Most importanty, Helen was deeply devoted to her family and put gret emphasis on a strong loving family bond.

         She is survived by her son Paul, and his wife Gayle, of Median, Ohio, her grandson Gary Cornell, her great granddaughter Juliet, her sisters Gail Bracco and Karen Hubela, her sister in law Shirley Bergen, and her brother in law Joseph Sinisgalli. She is predeceased by Anthony Montemagno, her grandson Daniel Cornell, her brother John Bergen, and her sister Eileen Sinisgalli. 

         In lieu of flowers donations in Helen’s Memory to St. John Nepomucene Parish Outreach, 1140 Locust Ave., Bohemia, NY 11716 would be appreciated.

Visitation- Wednesday October 6, 2021 form 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at our West Sayville Funeral Home, 245 Main St.

Funeral Mass- Thursday October 7, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Nepomucene RC Church, Bohemia 

Interment- Pinelawn Memorial Park
