Harry G. Torgersen

Harry G. Torgersen, age 88, resident of Sayville for over 60 years, died on February 15, 2025. A lifetime boater, Harry loved spending time on the Great South Bay. He also loved photography and rooting for the Mets, he was a fan since their beginnings in the early 60’s. His favorite pastime overall was spending time with his grandsons.

Harry is survived by his daughters; Kirsten Torgersen and Amy Minerva, and his grandsons; Jacob and Joshua. He was predeceased by his son; Keith.

Cremation is private. Church service is Thursday, February 20th, 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Episcopal Church, Sayville. Interment will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery.
