Geraldine Zachry Hackett, born May 18, 1956, of North Babylon, New York, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026, surrounded by family, friends, and love.
Geri was the beloved daughter of Henry Zachry and Blanche Zachry. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Richard Trpicovsky, her brothers; William and Glenn Zachry, and her sister Barbara. She is survived by her sister Mary Lynn.
Geri was a devoted mother to Tommy, Shaun, and Bryan, and a proud grandmother to Hailey, Henry, Shaun, Hunter, and Hayden, each of whom brought her immense joy. Family was at the center of Geri's life, and she took great pride in celebrating milestones and offering love and support through every season.
Geri also enjoyed a successful career in real estate and was deeply committed to the Town of Sayville, where she took pride in being an active and caring member of the community.
Beloved by her friends and family, Geri had many lifelong friends, a reflection of her loyalty, warmth, and genuine care for others. She loved to travel and had a passion for photography, finding joy in capturing moments and memories. She was known for her beautiful smile, her lovely singing voice, and a laugh that could light up a room. Everyone loved her laughter, her wonderful attitude, and the joy she brought into everyday moments.
Geri's legacy lives on through her children, her daughters-in-law; Corinne, Lauren, and Meghan, her grandchildren, her family, and the many friends whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
