George Frederick Becker, Jr, who sadly passed from our view on August 20, 2020. Born in Patchogue, George spent the first 15 years of his life in Valley Stream, before moving out to Blue Point in 1950, where he resided ever since. George graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and continued with his master’s and Doctorate in Dentistry from the University of Pennsylvania Dental School. He was an accomplished athlete, playing basketball in high school, and starting shortstop and team captain of the Dartmouth baseball team.
George is survived by his wife Myrna Bismarck Becker, his daughters Pamela Peper, and her husband Edward and Priscilla Becker and her husband Brian Hoffman, his grandchildren Emma and Hunter, and his sister Janice Sears.
