Frederick Karl Unz

Frederick Karl Unz, age 92, long time resident of Oakdale, LI., died peacefully on February 16, 2026.

Fred is survived by his wife, Kay Heitmuller, his daughters; Jacqueline Weisberger, Jennifer Fee and her husband Chuck, his grandchildren; Alexandra Krzyzewski and her husband Franklin, and Charles Fee. Fred was predeceased by his wife, Annis in 2000.

Family will receive visitors Friday, February 20th from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Chapel service will be Saturday, February 21st 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Followed by interment at Pinelawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Farmingdale.
