Frank Emil Mastrochirico, 98, a resident of Oakdale, NY since 1992, died on December 27, 2025. Born and raised in LI City, Frank served in the US Navy during World War II. Mr. Mastrochirico worked for both Hunter’s Point Steel and later for the US Postal Service. He was a very active member of the Windmill Gate Community in Oakdale and also at St. John Nepomucene RC Church in Bohemia where he served as an usher for many years.
Mr. Mastrochirico was predeceased by his wife, Mary, of 72 years. He is survived by his two daughters, Joanne Franco of Holtsville and Lu-Ann Passadino and her husband John of Sayville, as well as his four grandchildren, Jillian, Anthony, Johnny and Daniel and his wife Jaclyn.
Friends and relatives will gather on Tuesday, December 30th, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 31st at 11 a.m. at St. John Nepomucene RC Church and interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
