Frances M. Dempsey

Frances M. Dempsey, 92, a longtime resident of Oakdale, LI, died on Sunday, June 13, 2021.  A lifelong resident of Long Island, Mrs. Dempsey was a math teacher in the Sayville School District for more than thirty years.  Frances was also a very active volunteer and longtime board member with AHRC.

Mrs. Dempsey was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2004.  She is survived by her two daughters, Susan and Patricia, as well as a sister, Lillian Silkworth of Florida.

Friends and relatives will gather on Wednesday, June 16th, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville.  A graveside service will follow at Emmanuel Church Cemetery in Great River.
