Florence J. Kelly

Florence Josephine Kelly died on November 15, 2020 in Stony Brook, New York. She was affectionately known as Mickey to her family and friends, Mommy to her children, and Nan to her grandchildren. Florence was born in Brooklyn in 1941 to Joseph and  Alice Rocco. She lived most of her life on Long Island where she tenaciously raised her 5 children and was deeply devoted to her grandchildren’s upbringing. She was a strong, loving woman and will be missed dearly.

Florence was predeceased by her son, William Kelly. She is survived by her children James Kelly, Lori Olaya (Robert), Christopher Kelly (Kathleen), and Jennifer Kelly, as well her her grandchildren Alexandra and Devin Carullo; Victoria, Ryan, Amanda, Meghan, Brian, and Noah Kelly; Stephen, Connor, Mikaela, and Christian Olaya; and great-grandson Nicholas Kelly.
