Flora Van Essendelft

Flora Van Essendelft, a West Sayville resident for 73 years, died on May 12, 2023. Flora worked for Patchogue School District and Suffolk County as a secretary, as well as raised her 5 children. She was involved in the ministries of West Sayville Reformed Bible Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the West Sayville Fire Department.

She is survived by her children Philip, Sandra, David (Mary), Allen (Susan), and Eric (Peggy), and grandchildren Sarah, Samuel, Jacob, Caity, and Rebecca, and great-grandchildren Kaylee, Keira, and Aura.

Memorial donations can be made in her honor to West Sayville Christian School or Lighthouse Missions.
