Evelyn B. Stonelli

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn B. Stonelli on August 27, 2023, after a wonderful 85 years of life. “Evvi” lived a full and happy life, she has two daughters: Cheryl Barci (Jerry) and Susan Stonelli. She was the proud grandmother of Brianna Hotte (Rob) and Cassandra Barci, and one of her greatest joys in life was meeting her great grandson, Rad Jones Hotte.

       Evvi graduated from Sayville Highschool and immediately started working for AT&T Telephone Company where she worked for over 30 years. Anyone who knew her was aware of her strong work ethic, especially her daughters, who admired and learned from her. Evvi’s passions were cooking and gardening, but mostly spending time with her family and creating wonderful memories for all to share.

     Visitation will be held on Thursday August 31 from 4 pm to 8 pm. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Friday September 1st at St. Lawrence RC Church in Sayville. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Evvi’s memory may be made to The Arthritis Foundation; P.O. Box 96280 Washington, DC 20077.
