Eugene Vogel

Eugene Vogel, 95, of Ridge, LI, died on March 21, 2021.  A resident of Ridge for the past twenty years, Mr. Vogel was in Deer Park for fifty years prior.  Eugene was raised in Franklin Square and served in the US Army during World War II.  He worked for many years as a building inspector for the Town of Brookhaven.

Mr. Vogel is survived by his four children, Geraldine McGowan and her husband Don, Eugene and his wife Josephine, Jill Foschi and her husband Cesare and James and his wife Pat, his six grandchildren, Emily, Ryan, Lisa, Kim, Jimmy and Krissy, as well as four great grandchildren, Jack, Liam, Hunter and Sophia.  He was predeceased by his wife Mary in 2016.

Funeral arrangements were private and were entrusted to Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville.  A more public memorial service will be held at a later date.
