Edmund A. Murnane

Edmund A. Murnane, age 98, resident of Patchogue, formerly of Merrick, died peacefully on January 24,
2023. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth of 64 years, his daughter, Nancy Ghigliotti, her husband,
Peter, his grandchildren: Dennis, Ellen, Pamela, and Kevin, as well as his sisters, Rita Buckhorn, Marilyn
Concannon, and Anne O’Leary.

Ed, a veteran of World War II, proudly served in the US Navy. He will be warmly remembered for his
strong Catholic faith and his love of family, theatre, and horse racing.

Visitation will take place on Friday, January 27th from 9:30 – 10:30 am at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral
Home, 683 Montauk Hwy. Bayport. Funeral Mass Friday, January 27th, 11:00 am Our Lady of the Snow
RC Church, Blue Point. Mass will be live streamed. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
