Funeral Mass:  Saturday, December 7th, 9:45 a.m. at St. John Nepomucene RC Church, Bohemia.

Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Center Moriches.

Dorothy T. Sullivan, 88, a sixty-year resident of Center Moriches, LI, died on December 2, 2019. Born and raised in Queens, Dorothy attended St. John’s University where she was one of four women in her graduating class to earn a BS in Pharmacy.  Mrs. Sullivan worked as a hospital pharmacist before accepting a position with the Suffolk County Department of Health where she would become the first Chief Pharmacist at the Suffolk County Correctional Facility in Riverhead.  She also owned the Moriches Pharmacy in Center Moriches with her husband, Charles who operated it.  Dorothy was also a very active member of her church, St. John the Evangelist in Center Moriches, as well as several local organizations including the Rosary Society.  She was a member of the Board of Directors of the Center Moriches Public Library.

Mrs. Sullivan is survived by her three daughters, Gladys of Holtsville, Donna of Beechhurst, NY and Dorothy Randazzo and her husband J. Mark of Oakdale, as well as her sister, Laraine Tyska of North Carolina.  She was predeceased by her husband, Charles, in 1995.
