Donna Marie Papa, 62, of Sayville, LI, died on May 25, 2020. Donna Papa devoted her life to her husband, four children and 8 grandchildren. Even with battling Multiple sclerosis and eventually cancer she was full of life, love and never let her own struggles take her down.
Donna worked at Sayville High School for for many years, although her job title was a monitor her role there was much more. She impacted the lives of many students and faculty as well. She had a way about her that drew people to her. Whether for a laugh, a cry, a talk or even a kick in the rear Donna was always there for everyone and anyone.
Donna's love for her family and the students in her life was her reason for living and her motivation to keep going. Although Donna lost her battle to cancer She never gave up and never stopped fighting. Her beauty, love and strength will live on in her family and the many people who's lives she has impacted on her journey. Donna Papa will forever be a legend in the Sayville community and will be missed beyond measure by her loved ones.
Donna is survived by her husband, Anthony, her mother, Patricia West, her four children, Kristin Watson and Anthony, Jason and Jesse Papa, daughters-in-law, Jamie and Samantha, her son-in-law Daniel Watson, two sisters, Cheryl Lyes and Lynn Connor, as well as her eight grandchildren, Luke, Alexandria, Vincent, Antonia, Dominic, Sadie, Joseph and Madison.
Family will be gathering for a private graveside service at St. Ann's Cemetery in Sayville.
