Donna M. Marcley

Donna M. Marcley age 69, resident of Sayville, LI since 1976, died on November 17, 2023. 

Donna is survived by her husband Doug of 48 years and her loving children: Paul and his wife Michele of Oakdale, and Vanessa Loschiavo and her husband Steve of Holbrook. She is also survived by her granddaughter Sofia, her dog Cortez, and her sister Dorothy Sarling.

Donna enjoyed playing the organ and was even a part-time instructor at the Family Melody music store, many years ago. She was also once active in the public school system as president of SEPTA while her children were younger. Other interests included traveling abroad, gardening, attending Broadway plays, volunteering on her high school’s reunion committee, and shopping for that “perfect” blouse or greeting card. Donna also delighted in trying new restaurants and foods, and was an excellent baker of cookies and pies during the holidays. To summarize, she was a true lady in every sense of the word and will be missed by all.

Family will receive visitors on Monday, November 20th 2 – 4:30 p.m. & 7 – 9:30 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral home 245 Montauk Hwy, West Sayville. A chapel service will be held on Tuesday, November 21st at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery, Sayville.
