Donna Marie Butruch

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Marie Butruch, who left this world on March 30, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on March 24, 1959, in Port Jefferson, New York. 

Donna was the beloved wife of the late Eric Joseph Butruch and a devoted mother to her seven children: Jason (and his wife Lauren), Jonathan, Jennifer (and her husband John Iatrou), Joseph (and his wife Amber), Jamie, and Jessica. She was a proud grandmother to ten beautiful grandchildren: Samantha, Alexis, Madison, Kelsey, Peyton, Payton, Carson, Lionel, Lola, and Georgie. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she cherished the moments spent with her family, always eager to support and uplift them.

Throughout her life, Donna exemplified the virtues of compassion and empathy. Known for her selfless spirit, she was always there to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Her ability to empathize with others made her a cherished friend and confidante. Donna’s sympathetic nature drew people to her; she had an innate talent for making others feel valued and understood.

Donna’s legacy will live on through her family and the countless lives she impacted. Her laughter and warmth were contagious, and she created a home filled with love and acceptance. She taught her children the importance of kindness, humility, and the power of community.

A wake will be held at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home on April 5, 2025, 3:00 - 7:00 PM. The funeral will start at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home on April 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM - funeral to follow at Montefiore. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Donna’s journey may have come to an end, but her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she loved. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will never fade. Rest in peace, dear Donna; you will be deeply missed.
