Donald F. Teague

Donald F. Teague, 83, a resident of East Patchogue since 1998, died on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.  A US Navy veteran, Mr. Teague worked with the Long Island Railroad for more than 30 years before retiring in 1995 as Executive Director of Operations and Safety.  Don was also a longtime member and board member of the Mutual Beneficial Association and an active member and former President of Bellport Beach Property Owners Association.

Mr. Teague is survived by his daughter, Christine Jaycox of East Patchogue, three grandchildren, Brit’tanyann (Kevin Hannes), Julianna and Christopher (fiance Ashley Gala), two great-grandchildren, Anastasia and Oliver, as well as his sister-in-law, Dona Teague.  He was predeceased by his wife, Maureen, his son, Donald, and a grandson, Jonathan.

Friends and relatives will gather 1-3 & 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, October 20th at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 21st at St. Patrick’s RC Church in Bay Shore and a private cremation will follow.
