Dolores Driscoll resident of Sayville, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion. She was the beloved wife of Art, the love of her life and partner in all things. Dolores found joy in gardening, reading, walking, and shopping, and she brought warmth and kindness to everyone she met. Deeply committed to her community, Dolores volunteered with CYO, supported church functions, and proudly cheered for Art’s youth basketball team. She enjoyed her bowling league, her annual tea party, and especially attending her grandchildren’s concerts, games, and special events.
Dolores is survived by her children Dolores Collins and her husband Gerard, Mary Cassidy and her husband Vincent, Arthur and his wife Phyllis, Colleen Caravella and her husband John, and Virginia Abel and her husband John; her grandchildren Kathrynne, Gerard, Matthew, Erin, Kelly, Arthur, Emily, Olivia, Alexandria, and Samantha; and her seven great‑grandchildren. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, her unwavering support for her family, and the joy she brought to every life she touched.
Family will receive visitors Tuesday, March 31st 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home 245 Montauk Hwy. West Sayville. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, April 1st 10:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence RC Church 240 W. Main Street Sayville. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery.
