Visiting Hours:  Monday, March 25th, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at our West Sayville funeral home.

Funeral Mass:  Tuesday, March 26th, 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence RC Church, Sayville.

Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.

Diane A. Deuel-Lynch, 61, of West Sayville, LI, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 21, 2019.  Born and raised in West Islip, Diane was the devoted wife to Michael for 36 years; loving mother to Meghan and husband Garrett, Catherine and husband James, and Shannon and partner Joseph. She is also survived by her siblings, Veronica Cannon of Maryland, Dennis Deuel of Southampton, and Maryann Swenson of Florida. She was predeceased by her brother John Deuel.

Diane worked for nearly twenty years as a teacher’s aide in the Sayville Public Schools, and was a longtime member of St. Lawrence RC Church, to which she dedicated most of her adult life.  She was passionate about caring for her daughters and devoted her life to them. She spent countless hours driving her daughters to dance classes and sewing their pointe shoes to support their passion for dance. Diane deeply enjoyed spending Long Island summers on the beach with her family, and on most days, had a chocolate milkshake in her hand, enjoying simple pleasures inside and outside her loving home. She gave everything in her life to be the heart and soul of her family.

Friends and relatives will gather on Monday, March 25th, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence RC Church in Sayville and interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
