David A. McLachlan, a lifelong resident of Bohemia, passed away after a long fought battle to cancer, on July 19, 2022. A Connetquot High School graduate, David,
with his wife, Janice, built a family, a home, and a business to be proud of. Even with his busy schedule, David could always be counted on, especially when it came to the love
he had for his family. David was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time working in his backyard and in his garage. David loved animals and in
his free time loved to travel. He loved to watch his family enjoy all his hard work throughout the years.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Janice; his children, Lauren, Elizabeth, David, and Carla; his grandchildren, Anthony and Kennedy, who were the most important part of
his life; his mom, Marguerite McLachlan; his sister, Donna McLachlan; his brother, Andrew McLachlan, and his sister-in-law, Tonya. He is predeceased by his father, Andrew
McLachlan.
In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s memory to the Cancer Research Institute, (29 Broadway, Floor 4, New York, NY 10006) or the American Humane
Society (306 E. 59 th St., New York, NY 10022) would be appreciated.

Chapel Service: Saturday, July 23rd at 10:00 am at the funeral home
