Daniel R. DeRosa

Daniel R. DeRosa, 85, a resident of Bayport, New York for nearly sixty years, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025.  Born and raised in the Bronx, Daniel owned and operated Danny’s Coffee Truck for many years.

Mr. DeRosa is survived by his wife, Arlene, his two sons, Dominick and his wife Janet of California and Daniel and his wife Rosemarie of Lindenhurst, his four grandchildren, Michael, Kendall, Danielle and Michelle, three great-grandchildren, Aurora, Bobby and Ryan, his sister, Diane Caiati and her husband Robert of Kentucky, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives will gather on Sunday, August 10th, 1-5 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in Bayport.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 11th at 9:45 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snow RC Church in Blue Point and interment will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery in Sayville.
