Cynthia D. Giebfried

Cynthia D. Giebfried, 78, of Coram, NY, died on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.  Born and raised in Maspeth, Queens, Cynthia moved to Coram in 1968 and lived there for nearly 45 years before retiring to North Carolina.  She was an active member at St. Frances Cabrini RC Church in Coram for many years and helped to run their food pantry.

Mrs. Giebfried is survived by her two sons, Frank and his wife Patty of Bayport and Phillip and his wife Jennifer of Selden, three grandchildren, Olivia, Eric and Jason, as well as her sister, Phyllis Galvin and her husband Bob of Florida. She was predeceased by her husband Francis and by her granddaughter Melanie.

Friends and relatives will gather on Sunday, December 8th, 2-5 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 9th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Church in Coram and interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
