Christopher J. Monahan

Christopher J. Monahan, 57, of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, died suddenly on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.  Born in Brooklyn, Christopher was raised in Sayville. He graduated from Sayville High School and earned his Degree in Culinary Arts from New York Institute of Technology.  Christopher lived in Pennsylvania for the last twenty years and worked for many years as a Professional Chef at Longwood Gardens. 

 Chris was predeceased by his parents, Matthew and Mary Monahan.  He is survived by his three siblings, Regina Tegan of New Jersey, Eugene Monahan and his wife Jeanne of Sayville and Keith Monahan and his wife Deborah of Shirley, as well as his eleven loving nieces and nephews and one grand niece.

 Friends and relatives will gather on Saturday, August 7th, 1-6 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville where a service will be held at 5 p.m.  A private cremation will follow.
