Funeral Mass- Thursday October 24th, 10:30 am at Our Lady of the Snow RC Church in Blue Point.

Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery

Carolyn A. Brown, age 84, resident of Blue Point entered the Gates of Heaven on October 20, 2024.

Carolyn’s loving husband of 65 years, Joseph J. Brown, predeceased her December 2023.   She is survived by her children Joseph, his wife Eileen, Thomas, his wife Jeanine, Susan Markow and her husband James, Robert, his wife Sandra, and Grandchildren Kyle, Elise, Tara, Sean, Evan, Rachel, Shannon, Scott, Christopher and Great Grandchildren, Evelyn, Aurora, Sybil, Grey, Brooke, Dawson, Bennett and Jackson. Carolyn is also survived by her dear brother James A. Bindhammer and his wife Valerie.

Carolyn was an active member of Our Lady of the Snow Parish. She was a volunteer for the Food Distribution Center, provided religious education to teens and Pre-Cana couples, and served as a Eucharistic Minister for more than 40 years.

She will be remembered for her love of family, church, prayer group and her appreciation for the beauty of nature.  She will be greatly missed by family and all who knew her.

Family will receive visitors on Wednesday, October 23rd.  4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home 683 Montauk Hwy. Bayport.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 24th 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snow RC Church 175 Blue Point Ave. Blue Point. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton.
