Carol A. Koehler, age 82, resident of Oakdale died on January 21, 2025. Carol worked as a cashier at Grand Union and then Stop & Shop in Sayville for over 40 years. She was well loved by the community. She spent her retirement traveling, connecting with friends and family, making craft projects for everyone, gardening, decorating for the holidays and taking care of her best friend, her dog Bam-Bam.
Carol is survived by her children Thomas and his life partner Tammy Lautt, Catherine Seybold and her life partner Cris, Marie Koehler and her life partner Keith Francsioca, Kristina Ramos, William and his life partner Brianna Johnson, her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, her sisters Jeanette Couillou, Muriel Schwind and her husband Ken, and Joan Dockweiler. She was predeceased by her son Michael Koehler and son in-law Tito Ramos.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring. Please Hang a bird feeder, plant a tree or flowers this spring to remember Carol.
