Chapel Service - 11:30 a.m. Monday April 4th at the Funeral Home.

Interment - Emmanuel Episcopal Cemetery, Great River, NY.

So now we bid you farewell Carol Ann. A woman who never passed up a chance to belt out Crazy by Patsy Cline or missed being first on line when the karaoke machine was out. A woman who could talk on the phone for hours yet always somehow had a little more to say. We know you’re going to heaven, we just haven’t figured out how being she was deathly afraid of heights, terrified of flying and after her one and only flight would’ve been banned if that was a thing back then. She hated trains, only liked to backseat drive and almost jumped into midtown Manhattan traffic with her two children and mother when the horse and buggy ride got spooked. I’d say try a boat but on our one and only family canoe trip you flipped that one and dumped the rest of us in the river. Maybe you’ll walk up there like you did when you trudged with your two kids(notice a pattern)through two feet of snow to get milk and bread in the middle of the blizzard of 78. We still can’t feel our big toes. Maybe walking is the best because we’d hate to have you park(or not) the station wagon only to have it roll down the campsite and almost run over an elderly couple sitting in their tent. You were truly one of a kind and will be missed. Say hello to your girlfriend Sandy Z( if you knew mom, you’d know why I said her girlfriend Sandy Z), send our regards to grandma and grandpa on both sides, and tell Disco Denny aka the Rock and Roll cabbie it’s all water under the bridge down here. Happy trails and rest easy, god knows you’ve earned it and that we’ll keep the old man busy. Love,  your two sons
