            Bernard Jackson, passed away on October 29, 2020. A former Islip Terrace resident for 44 years before moving to Patchogue in 2017, Bernard spent his career with Aeroflex working as an electrical engineer. Upon retiring, he worked part time as a bus driver for Suffolk Transport and also part time with Home Depot, as he loved giving advice for many home improvement projects.. Bernard had a devote faith to God and his Church, New Life Community in Sayville, where he was an Elder of the Congregation.

            He is survived by his wife Barbara, his children Erica Jackson, Jared, and his wife Kierstin, and Katelin Hyland, and her husband Steve, his grandchildren Arynn (Samantha), Emma, Savannah, Reid, Ellie, Lilia, and Audrey, his great grandchild Olivia, his sisters Sandy LaRew, and her husband David and Debbie Houston, and her husband Jerry, and his father Bernard. He is predeceased by his daughter Eileen and his mother Frances.
